A great place to go for an all day family fun filled trip. Swimming, biking, hiking, paddle boats, canoes, john boats. Ect.. Just pack a picnic lunch and enjoy yourself.
Great place to camp
Amazing place to camp with the family. Lake has an easy hiking trail suitable for smaller children, however they probably wouldn't make it around as the distance is approx 3 miles. No cell phone reception makes it ideal to unplug from the daily distractions of emails, fb, etc. Can't wait to go back! Didn't get to fish, but it's a decent sized lake, so there's probably some decent sized fish. There's a boat ramp, so we'll have to bring kayaks or a small boat next time. Be sure to get groceries before you go because the closest grocery store is a ways away.
The best secluded camping with the lake is a bonus, great for canoeing cool temps and no humidity.
